Polia Pillin is more known to many pottery collectors for the decorations on the vases and William Pilin is known for throwing, shaping vases and working with glazes, he was also a poet. The vast majority of the pottery they produced was decorated with figures, fish and animals by Polia, the pieces co-signed with with her husband William seldom come to market. They are marked or signed: "W" + "P" above "Pillin". This tall vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Measures 10" high x 4" wide.
